July is looking to be a slow month around here (unless you are firefighter, I'm afraid) so I thought I'd use this space to highlight some more of the items coming to me through the HaSafran mailing list of the Association of Jewish Libraries. Historic Jewish Press - contains a collection of Jewish newspapers published in various countries, languages, and time periods. We display digital versions of each newspaper, making it possible to view the papers in their original layout. Full-text search is also available for all content published over the course of each newspaper’s publication.

Israeli Internet Sites Archive -- The Jewish National and University Library is conducting an experiment in the preservation of Israeli Internet sites. Two collections were compiled: the first includes sites dealing with the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the second includes sites relating to the 17th Knesset elections.

Jewish Construct -- a blog about Jewish design and architecture community.

Jewish and Israeli Facebook Groups -- compiled by Jacob Richman, 1,156 groups listed so far -- apparently we're also the people of the Web...
